Learn to swim & learn to dive
3. The perfect preparation
The surrounding conditions are a decisive factor. Learning to swim works
best in as undisturbed an environment as possible. When very few people
are in the water and the noise level is low, a learner can concentrate best
and learn fast. It's extremely important for the water to be clear, clean and
warm to give the learner has a sense of well-being at all times.
A common mistake:
Parents try to teach their children swimming anywhere. Slides, waves and
whirlpools make concentrated learning more difficult. Overcrowded water
parks filled with other splashing, romping children distract the learner. The
murky, dark waters of a lake, where they can't see the bottom, can make
the learner feel even more insecure.
