Recognizing and fostering talents
By paying a little attention, it’s possible to discern individual talents and
interests. Exercises which at first sight have nothing to do with a typical
swimming lesson can create lasting enthusiasm for swimming and diving.
With a bit of imagination and inventiveness, the tasks can be skilfully
adapted.
Depending on a child's talents and interests, both musical and sporting
aspects can be combined with the swimming exercises. You can use
melodies, water balls and mermaid fins.
For example, working with a surfboard trains balance and teaches the fun
of being in the element of water.
